We fundraise for Atzin, formerly known as Caminamos Juntos (CJ), a Mexican NGO working in Tlamacazapa, Guerrero, Mexico. The funds are used to support Atzin's work, and to assist villagers in their efforts to improve the quantity and quality of their water by the construction of water and sanitation units (dry toilets and rainwater catchment cisterns). |

Attending the annual Fiesta. The evening includes a Mexican dinner and ambiance, as well as a silent auction of beautiful items from Mexico and Canada and exciting raffle packages. The 2010 Fiesta is the first Friday in November. Friday, November 5th. |

In 2007,
Joan Skinkle and David Brown undertook an income generation initiative
to raise awareness and funds for the work of Atzin. Beautiful silver and
gemstone jewelery is being purchased from Mexico and sold at home parties
and community events, with all proceeds being donated to Atzin. Funds
raised from jewelery sales are not tagged to any specific program, but
are available for any area of Atzin’s work. Read
